The city of Sydney is in the region of New South Wales. It is significant because of its placement on the Port Jackson, the Sydney Opera House, and many of it’s features. Sydney’s role in New South Wales is the amount of the states imports and exports it produces. It is also in the region of Australia for the same reasons. Sydney is in the region of Oceania, which is made up of most of the islands in the South Pacific. It is significant because it attracts many tourists to come visit Sydney and surrounding villages. Its role is to make the economy in Oceania stronger.
